-BMW E24
The original BMW 6 Series was meant to serve as a successor to the E9 Coupes – in particular the 2800CS, 3.0CS, and the 3.0Csi. The United States of America had imposed new rollover and crash standards, thus necessitating an upgrade. The new E24 chassis was a lot safer than the previous E9.
The first BMW 6 Series was launched in the year 1976. The car came with a 3210 cc Configuration.
In the year 1980, the 635Csi received its debut. It came with a 3453 cc SHOC Configuration and could reach a speed of up to two hundred twenty two miles per hour.
In the year 1983, BMW created the M6 by putting the E24 chassis on the M88/3. The M6 could reach 100 km/h in less than seven seconds.
