The BMW E90 platform, upon which the BMW E93 was built, is the BMW 3 Series’ fifth generation. It is a series of compact executive or entry level luxury automobiles. The E93 version of the vehicle is a coupe cabriolet. It can be seen as a successor to the E46 platform of vehicles. The BMW E90 platform was marched in the first half of 2005.

The BMW E93 is a coupe cabriolet that, unlike other BMW models, comes as a retractable hard top, rather than a traditional cloth top. The E93 does not have the retractable seat belt helpers that the E92 relies on whenever one has to close the respective door.

Ever since the 3 Series saloon was first launched, it was praised by critics all over the automotive press. It is widely regarded as the best automobile in the current BMW saloon car line up, which began in the year 2001 with the E65 7 Series. The only area on the car that has been singled out for improvement has been its exterior design. Otherwise, the car continues to receive rave reviews for its smooth steering and world class handling, not to mention its cabin space, Configurations, refinement, and interior styling, which rivals that of the Audi A4.
