BMW offers a rear wheel drive sports car known as the BMW Z4. The car is also available in coupe form as the E86 and in roadster form as the E85. Production of the BMW Z4 began in the year 2002. It served as a replacement vehicle for the BMW Z3. The design of the BMW Z4 is in many ways intended to fix criticisms of the previous car; it is a lot bigger, more powerful, and features a much stiffer chassis.
The BMW Z4 is constructed in the city of Spartanburg, South Carolina in the United States of America. Upon its initial release, the BMW Z4 was only available in roadster form. In the year 2006, however, a coupe version of the car was released.
Chris Bangle is responsible for the design of the BMW Z4. His flame surfacing design and aggressive styling choices have been the subject of some controversy. Although these design elements can also be seen on the vast majority of modern BMWs, including the 5 Series and the 7 Series. By the time we get to the year 2007, most of the BMW line will feature Chris Bangle’s startling design work.
The Z4 comes with a variety of straight six motor options.
