The Buick GL8 is a minivan that is sold by the Buick division of General Motors in China. It was first launched in the year 2000. The Buick GL8 is essentially a rebadged version of the Pontiac Montana minivan. A lot of people view the Buick Terraza as the very first minivan for Buick, since the Buick GL8 is only for sale in China. In the year 2005, the Buick GL8 received a major facelift. The Buick GL8 now features a more dynamic, futuristic appearance than its American counterparts, which include the Buick Terraza, the Saturn Relay, the Chevrolet Uplander, and the Pontiac Montana.
The Buick GL8 is available in two wheelbase variants. The regular wheelbase version of the vehicle is known as the GL8 2.5. Then there is the extended wheelbase version of the van, which is known as the GL8 Firstland.
The Buick GL8 comes in four different trim levels. They are referred to as the LT, CT1, CT2, and the GT. The GT variant is only available on the Buick GL8 Firstland.
The Buick GL8 comes with two different Configurations. On the 2.5 model, the Configuration is a 2.5 L V6. On the GL8 Firstland, the Configuration is a 3.0 L V6.
