In the year 2005, the General Motors released a minivan known as the Terraza from their Buick division. It was meant to fill the gap of luxury minivan left by the Oldsmobile Silhouette, which lasted until the demise of Oldsmobile in the year 2004. The Buick Terraza is built alongside its Saturn, Chevrolet, and Pontiac siblings in the town of Doraville, Georgia.
The Buick Terraza is capable of going from zero to sixty miles per hour in less than eleven seconds. It made its debut with a single Configuration, a 3.5 L High Value V6 that generates 200 hp and 220 ft / lb of torque. In the year 2006, an optional 3.9 L LZ9 V6 Configuration was added, only to be dropped the following year.
The Buick Terraza is considered to be the most luxurious of all General Motors minivans. It is available at a starting price of $27,790, placing it ahead of the Saturn Relay. The Buick Terraza may be bought with one of two trim levels – the CX or the CXL. Despite claims to the contrary, the Terraza is not, in fact, the first minivan for Buick. In the year 2000, Buick released the GL8, a minivan that was only for sale in China.
