The Cadillac is a medium sized luxury crossover SUV. It has been manufactured by General Motors’ Cadillac division since the year 2004. Configuration options on the Cadillac SRX include the 260 hp High Feature V6 and the 4.6L 320 hp Northstar V8. The car is situated on the General Motors Sigma platform. It comes with either six speed or five speed automatic transmission. Four wheel drive and rear wheel drive are also available.
Both models of the Cadillac SRX feature curtain side airbags as well as an all leather interior. The front seats are heated, and as in most V8 models, there is a wood interior trim. Available options include DVD, a foldable third row seat, a navigation system, and a sunroof.
The Cadillac SRX is available for a base price of $36,990 for the V6 model and $44,990 for the V8 model.
As a luxury SUV, the Cadillac SRX has won numerous awards, including one of the Five Best Trucks in Car and Driver magazine for three years in a row. It was also nominated for the 2004 North American Truck of the Year award.
As of the year 2006, there will no longer be a V Series SRX V.
