The Chevrolet Groove was a concept car that was first introduced in April of 2007 at the New York International Auto Show. The Chevrolet Groove is meant to be symbolic of a new wave of small cars from General Motors. The Chevrolet Groove boasts a design by GM Daewoo of South Korean. The automobile is powered by a small yet efficient 1.0 L diesel Configuration.
In addition to the Chevrolet Groove, the General Motors Company also showcased two additional concept cars, the Chevrolet Trax and the Chevrolet Beat. All three of these automobiles are meant to provide some insight in to future designs of the General Motors subcompact segment. After they are introduced on the website vote4chevrolet.com, visitors to the site will be able to vote on their favorite car. Whatever cars wins will probably be the only car that becomes available for purchase in the United States of America.
As of July 2007, the Beat has proven to be a lot more popular than the other two cars, with about fifty percent of the votes. Over one million votes have been cast to date. The Beat was also designed by the South Korean firm of GM Daewoo.
