The Chevrolet HHR, which stands for Heritage High Roof, is a small compact wagon designed in a retro style that was launched in the year 2005 at the Los Angeles Auto Show by the Chevrolet division of General Motors as a 2006 model.
The Chevrolet HHR was meant to slot directly below the Equinox. It is built on the General Motors Delta platform alongside the Chevrolet Cobalt, Saturn ION, and Pontiac G5. The Chevrolet HHR is a competitor to the Chrysler PT Cruiser, despite the fact that it is slightly larger.
The Chevrolet vehicles of the 1940s largely inspired the design of the Chevrolet HHR. In particular, it was inspired by the design of the 1949 Chevrolet Suburban, which featured large square fender flares as well as a hemispherical grille. Brian Nesbitt designed the Chevrolet HHR. Nesbitt is also responsible for designing the PT Cruiser model. General Motors recruited Nesbitt to join its design staff, and for a long while, Nesbitt served as the chief designer of the Chevrolet brand.
The Chevrolet HHR comes with a large capacity for cargo. It includes a flat load floor as well as a fold flat front passenger seat. For the 2007 model year, the Chevrolet HHR is available in four different levels of trip – the LS, LT, 2LT, and Special Edition.
