In the year 2003 at the Geneva Auto Show, the Chrysler group unveiled a new concept car known as the Chrysler Airflite. The looks of the car are defined by a sporty design. It takes its general concept from another Chrysler automobile known as the Crossfire. It is also based on a shortened version of the LX platform, which was also utilized on the Chrysler 300 vehicle.
The Chrysler Airflite takes its power from a ninety degree V6 Configuration. It is unknown what the rest of the Configuration’s power and torque is.
The Chrysler Airflite is distinguished by its sporty two door coupe look, while also containing the functionality of a four door sedan. In its exterior design, the Chrysler Airflite blends elements of both the Chrysler Pacifica and the Chrysler Crossfire. Most of the looks were based on the latter model, while the seven spoke road wheel design is based on the former.
The Chrysler Airflite’s interior is quite upscale and spacious. Its dominant center spine connects the interior from the dashboard to the rear of the vehicle. It has a stepped up floor behind the rear seats, which effectively creates a raised cargo area in the vehicle.
