Dodge Hornet

The concept vehicle known as the Dodge Hornet was first produced by Dodge and unveiled in the year 2006. It is distinguished for being the first attempt by Dodge to build such a tiny vehicle. The Dodge Hornet is expected to hit the road in the year 2008.

The vehicle is meant to be a rally inspired design that is based on the same platform as the Jeep Compass. The vehicle comes powered by a 1.6 L supercharged four cylinder Configuration that is rated at 170 hp. The Configuration is also used in the 2005 Mini Cooper S. The concept version of the Dodge Hornet, in fact, was built off of a Mini Cooper S that the design team had purchased from a car dealership in Detroit, Michigan in the United States of America.

The Dodge Hornet reportedly boasts a throaty Configuration note that is a lot louder than the V10 Viper that many Dodge vehicles employ. The car is capable of accelerating up to sixty miles per hour in less than eight seconds, making it as fast as the Checkmate Mini – although a lot less expensive than that vehicle. The doors of the Dodge Hornet open in a similar fashion to those on the Mazda RX8.
