The Ferrari 360 GTC is an automobile produced by Italian auto stalwarts Ferrari. It was first unveiled in the year 2003 at the Bologna Motor Show as a 2004 model year vehicle. It is unknown how many units were produced of the Ferrari 360 GTC. The Ferrari 360 GTC featured a design by Pininfarina. The car boasted a total weight of 2,425 pounds.
The Ferrari 360 GTC was developed in the town of Maranello, Italy alongside the Corse Clienti Department in collaboration with Michelotto Automobili. The idea was to produce a vehicle that could compete in the N GT class. The Ferrari 360 GTC makes use of recent evolutions that have proven effective in the Ferrari 360 GT, including sequential six speed gear change and an improved electronics package. The aerodynamics on the vehicle are different from the 360 GT, however. Wind tunnel research provided the inspiration for a new rear wing system on the Ferrari 360 GTC; this includes a major improvement in vertical down force.
The Italian sports car maker Ferrari is currently based in the towns of Modena and Maranello in Italy. The company was formed in the year 1929 as Scuderia Ferrari by Enzo Ferrari.
