The Italian car stalwarts released the Ferrari F430, a high performance sports vehicle, in the year 2004 as a successor to the Ferrari 360. The F430 Spider is a two seat special design version of the vehicle.

The Ferrari F430 is sold in the United States of America for between $168,005 and $227,000. In the United Kingdom, it is available for around 120,000 pounds. In the European Union, the Ferrari F430 retails for around 175,000 Euros.

The design on the Ferrari F430 was intended to attain a high level of aerodynamism. While the drag coefficient remains the same as in previous Ferrari models, the down force on the Ferrari F430 has been increased to a significant degree.

The Ferrari F430 has been widely seen in popular culture. It was featured as the cover automobile on the racing game Project Gotham Racing. The Spider model was shown in Test Drive: Unlimited. It can also be seen in the Sega video game Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast as a hidden vehicle.

The Ferrari F430 Spider was featured in the Miami Vice film, which was directed by Michael Mann.

Hot Wheels manufactures a Ferrari F430 Spider on a 1 to 18 scale.

The Ferrari F430 Spider was test driven on the television show Top Gear.
