The Italian car stalwarts released the Ferrari F430, a high performance sports vehicle, in the year 2004 as a successor to the Ferrari 360. The Ferrari F430 was first shown at the Paris Motor Show.
Left hand drive sales of the Ferrari F430 began on the European continent in November of 2004. Right hand drive sales did not begin until the following year, however. The United States of America began to sell the Ferrari F430 in the summer of 2005.
The chassis of the F430 is based extensively on its predecessor. Both the 360 and the F430 utilize the same model number – F131 – but the F430 comes with the Evoluzione tag added on to it as a means of showing that it boasts some changes. The car is internally known as the Evo at Ferrari.
The Ferrari F430 is sold in the United States of America for between $168,005 and $227,000. In the United Kingdom, it is available for around 120,000 pounds. In the European Union, the Ferrari F430 retails for around 175,000 Euros.
The design on the Ferrari F430 was intended to attain a high level of aerodynamism. While the drag coefficient remains the same as in previous Ferrari models, the down force on the Ferrari F430 has been increased to a significant degree.
