Hummer H3x

At the North American International Auto Show in the year 2006, Hummer first unveiled the Hummer H3x. This was meant to be a trim update to the Hummer H3 vehicle. The Hummer H3x included such additions as differently colored body parts and chrome.

These differentiated it from the standard Hummer H3s, which had also been introduced in the year 2006. The Hummer H3x also boasts an upgrade option of a 5.3 L V8 Configuration.

The Hummer division of General Motors first introduced their Hummer H3 model in the year 2006. The Hummer H3 is known as the smallest of all the Hummer vehicles. While the Hummer H3 was a pickup truck in its concept car version, the production model of the vehicle is actually conventional SUV. The GMT345 platform of the Hummer H3 is based on the GMT355, which is the platform that the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado pickup trucks are built on. The Hummer H3x is constructed in Shreveport, Louisiana at the General Motors facility there.

Sales figures for the Hummer H3 have been incredibly strong. In the year 2005 alone, over thirty thousand units of the Hummer H3 were sold – this comprised nearly sixty percent of Hummer’s total sales for that period.
