The Hyundai Trajet, derived from the French word that means “to travel from one place to another,” was first released by the Hyundai Motor Company in the year 1999. It is a seven seat multi purpose vehicle.
The Hyundai Trajet was first launched with a 2.0 GSI model and a choice of LPG power, gas, or diesel. A limited edition version of the Hyundai Trajet was released in the year 2001 with an SE 2.7 V6 Configuration.
The Hyundai Trajet comes with three rows of seats. A number of smart seating configurations are possible within the vehicle. This also allows for extra baggage space, and seating that can be removed quite easily in the event that larger items need to be accommodated.
The front seats on the Hyundai Trajet are remarkable for their ability to rotate one hundred eighty degrees in order to face passengers at the rear of the vehicle when the car is stationary. The back seats on the Hyundai Trajet may also be turned in to tables, making for a virtual picnic area or office.
The Hyundai Trajet retails in the United Kingdom for a starting price of 15,495 pounds. The 2.0 version is available for 18,345 pounds.
