The Jaguar XF-D is one of the new diesel cars produced by Jaguar, it features twin turbo charges making the diesel car a realistic choice for people who like to move around quickly, whilst being economical. Launched late 2008, the XF D gets some minor bodyworks tweets, compared to it's big brother the XD, the following parts have been changed
- New wheels
- Greater variety of colours
- Door mirrors
- Windscreen
The standard model, features a 3.0 V6 Configuration which can developer 275 BHP, which is adequate for a comfortable saloon car, the new Configurations are not just faster than the XF-D's predecessors, but they are also more economical and can barely be heard when cruising . Statistics show that in typical weather conditions for the UK, this car averages 42 MPG, this is a very respectable figure considering the V6 is not sluggish and the car isn't exactly light either, therefore the XF-D can match many hatchbacks on fuel economy, which is an impressive feat. The base model, starts at £30,000 before any extras, and if you want to top of the range premium package, you will be looking at spending £44,000.
The interior is a pleasant place to be, the seats feature soft grain leather and the two front seats feature electrical heating and cooling, the dash board has a build in sat nav, which is a standard for most cars within this price range, and automatic transmission as standard, although there is a manual option available.
