The grand tourer known as the Jaguar XK has been manufactured by the luxury British auto maker Jaguar since the year 1997. It is meant to serve as a replacement vehicle for the Jaguar XJS.
It is available in convertible and coupe form. The Jaguar XK is currently in its second vehicular generation. The XK8 has the distinction of being the first eight cylinder vehicle to be made by Jaguar, back upon the introduction of the Jaguar AJ V8 Configuration.

The supercharged version of the vehicle is known as the Jaguar XKR. The first generation Jaguar XK model is built on the same platform as the Aston Martin DB7. Both of the vehicles are derived from the Jaguar XJS, although the platform has been changed significantly over the years.
In the year 2006, a new car was unveiled, known as the Jaguar XK. It was first presented in the year previous at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It utilizes an new all aluminum monocoque chassis that was initially developed from the 2005 Advanced Lightweight coupe concept vehicle. It will be offered in either convertible or coupe form.
