The Swedish automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg is responsible for the CCXR, its latest super car. The CCXR is identical in most respects to the Koenigsegg CCX.

The main difference between the two is that the CCXR’s Configuration has been tuned to take Ethanol Fuel. Koenigsegg has assured its current CCX customers that their Configurations can be readily converted to the same Configuration specification as the CCXR.

The Koenigsegg CCXR takes the form of a two seat, two door vehicle with a removable hardtop front hood. The body of the vehicle is made of Kevlar and carbon fiber. It boasts lightweight sandwich reinforcements. The CCXR’s dihedral synchro helix actuation doors are regarded as a fine piece of Koenigsegg Configurationering. They allow for maximum space efficiency whenever the vehicle is parked.

The Koenigsegg CCX has already made its way in to popular culture. The vehicle makes an appearance in the recent movie Redline. There is also a Koenigsegg CCX in the collector’s edition of the video game Need for Speed: Carbon. The maximum speed of the Koenigsegg CCX in the game is only 202 miles per hour. In real life, however, the car is capable of reaching a speed of up to 242 miles per hour.
