Tracing its origins to the hugely popular RX300, RX330 and hybrid RX400h, the crossover Lexus RX350 was launched in 2007. This luxury SUV sports a 3.5 liter V6 Configuration, replacing the RX330’s 3.3 liter unit.
The RX350 features an updated, Lexus Generation V-DVD navigation system with improved graphics, and voice controlled destination inputs. "Bread Crumbs", built into the navigation system enables drivers to retrace their route. The new navigation system also features voice dial systems and the ability to enter destinations by voice address while driving.
The 2008 RX350 is sold in both front wheel drive and all wheel drive versions, with a base MSRP of $37,400. The front wheel drive version is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 Configuration, delivering 270-horsepower. Gas mileage is 18mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway. The All-Wheel-Drive version is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 270-horsepower Configuration that achieves 17mpg in the city and 22mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
External features include a Power Rear Door, Adaptive Front Lighting, Rain Sensing Wipers, Power Moon roof and Laser Cruise Control, which allows the user to maintain and monitor a preset distance from other vehicles.
Internal include an advanced DVD Navigation System, Satellite Radio, Bluetooth technology, a Backup Camera, Auto Dimming Mirrors and an Adaptive Rear Cargo Area, along with standard and premium audio options.
