Maserati GT has unleashed the ultimate racing machine, the Maserati MMC GT the best weapon a racer can have. The version of the Maserati GT used for competition is called the MMC.

It was first showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. Based on the technicalities of the Ferrari Enzo the MMC GT includes mechanical components like 6L V-12 Configuration which can give a power output of 650 bhp. Looks wise the Maserati looks much better than the Enzo and that is because it is Maserati’s trademark to look good. The body looks extremely elegant and has been developed in a wind tunnel.

Produced in the year 2004 the car specifications are it weighs a total of 1100 kgs which can be considered extremely lightweight for car standards and that is one of the reason why it speeds up the way it does. Maserati does take pride in an age long tradition of race cars and has almost set a culture for itself. Though the Maserati MMC GT is born of the Ferrari and the Enzo did have a large role to play in its design, the entire credit for its body shape and sleek looks has to be credited to Maserati. That way Maserati Company always managed to make a statement even with borrowed technologies.
