The McLaren was started in the year 1963 by Bruce McLaren and the area of fame for this car company is inMclaren Logo the formula one racing championships. The McLaren Company is the second most popular and only second to Ferrari. They have come along way for this victory. Before the McLaren Company was a car company it was a racing club which then decided to launch its own cars. Mc Laren’s first car was the first car to race the tracks in 1966 in the Monaco Race was the Kiwi. But this race never took off much because there was oil leak and the car failed the McLaren’s.  The team did not give up just yet and they continued to pursue their efforts.

The team then entered the Indianapolis 500 race for the first time in their life time with Hulme as their driver but he had a severe accident and was replaced by Peter Revson. Nothing much happened in this race however for McLaren Company. In 1970, June, in an unfortunate incident Bruce McLaren was killed while he was testing one of the cars the M8D for which the rear body work gave up and completely detached from the car. Soon after Bruce’s death within 12 days there was a race, the Mosport which Dan Gurney won with Mclaren car.

Unfortunately Bruce McLaren was not around to see the first victory. After that the car which killed Bruce the M8D won nearly ten races in 1970 alone. But in formula one race of 1970 McLaren had no victories. It was 1972 when Mclaren won its first formula one and was won by Hulme.  Soon after that there were a lot of victories for Mclaren and they rounded it up to 43 victories by the time racing season ceased.
