Mercedes and McLaren in collaboration wanted to come up with a concept with a mid Configuration between the AMG and the SLR performance and also match the price. Their answer was the Mercedes P8.
The Mercedes P8 is the Benz super car in terms of style, Configurationering and two seaters. The P8 comes with a body made of carbon fiber combines with thermo plastics and aluminum so that the weight is minimized. The shape is derived from the wind tunnel and the aerodynamics is high so that the down shift is smooth. The P8 sports the new 6.3L V8 Configuration and this can touch the top speeds of 380mph. As the Mercedes trademark P8 is loaded with safety features like airbags, intelligent car control management like the pre safe mode and so on. The P8 was initially set up to compete with Lamborghini Gallardo and the likes of Ferrari but now it is priced even more than them.
The P8 was originally conceived to be a mid Configuration rear wheel drive with an AMG and with aright hand drive. So the P8 will essentially appear in the Australian Grand Prix formula 1 race and may not figure out in the US tracks. This is yet another car in the Mercedes stable which has tremendous power but still has to prove its mettle by beating those seconds in the heated race environment.
