The McLaren SLR combined with Mercedes Benz and the name speaks for itself. Nothing sounds more inviting when it comes to cars. It did not take much for the makers to convert a left hand drive to suit the right hand drive environment and give the SLR power as a package to the speed seekers.
The Configuration mechanics rely largely on the cylinders which have a new condensed air intake apart from the separate intercoolers. The Configuration at 1500 rpm produces a 44lb/ft torque and this increases to a 500 lb/ft at 5000 rpm. The AMG Configurations are known for their high output but they were housed in heavy steel covering. The SL has it housed in a fiber body which makes it a lot lighter.
This carbon fiber body is produced in England and that is where the SLR comes from. The Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR fully uses the carbon fiber body to its advantage and gathers a lot of strength as a result. Since it a lot lighter it gives performance and safety as a bonus. The body is built in composite mould and the front and the rear look amazing. There are many more neat features in the car and the suspension and the torque are essentially formula 1 style.
