The MG 7 was released in 2004 with its Rover badges and has created a lot of enthusiasm in the car community because it is basically a re branded Peter Stevens car styling and everyone is curious.
The MG 7 coupe’ is beautifully finished with wood and leather on the interiors and the Rover looks from the outside. It has a very balanced approach for its styling even though it was only made for a demo the car came across as a well balanced coupe’. Shanghai Automobile was bidding for Longbridge to design these cars. After the redesign of the Rover 75 the MG 7 is definitely a good effort put into practicality by the Chinese company and also shows that they are very ambitious. The tools and the production equipment required for the MG 7 is still present in Long Bridge but however the parts that the MG7 coupe’ needs requires quite an investment from the company. Longbridge can be the perfect place to build the MG 7. But when the MG 7 would be unleashed into the market the market experts predict that it would be quite a struggle for the car to make it against its competitors like Audi 5 and the 3 series coupe’. It may be successful in some markets but not all.
