The Porsche Cayman is exactly the incarnation of Boxster but the only difference is the steel roof top coupe and the hatch back.
They come with Michelin tyres and chassis with stiffer springs. The Porsche Cayman Configuration specific are 3.4L M96 Flat Configuration from Porsche which is the same as Boxster. It can deliver up to 294 horsepower at 255 lb ft torque.Â
The Caymans body type is totally based on the Boxster and the side panels have been directly taken from the Boxster all he way to the back. In the front the Cayman has fog lamps which have been placed obviously so that there is a difference between the coupe’ and the Hatchback. The Caymans side profile looks like a dome with the steel dome shaped roof and it has very cleverly designed air intakes. The rear small windows look like the 911 and the curves and lines near the wheel look a lot like the Spyder. Like all other Porsche cars the Porsche Cayman also comes with the PASM, Porsche Stability Management System.
The Porsche Cayman currently offers the sport chrono package which comes with the counter being built as an integral part of the dash itself. The ceramic brakes are available in this version and the ceramic brake discs also come along which weigh much less heavier than the cast iron ones.
