The Porsche RS Spyder is also called the type 9 R6 and is a race car in essence. The RS spyder derives its name and inspiration for the previous much successful 550 Spyder.
This concept car is a two seater car which can be used in the ALMS and LMS champion ships or long distance championships. The body shell of the Porsche RS Spyder is made of carbon fiber to give it the lightness and reinforced monocoque chassis and under the floor of the car is anti skid controls, it comes with the most modern head and neck support system a built in fire extinguishing equipment and a three point jack which is pneumatically controlled.
The aerodynamics differs at the rear and the height of the body to give it improvised handling. Under the bonnet it comes with a V Configuration which has been placed at aright angle and it has four valves per cylinder. The Configuration and the gear box share the same platform so that they form only one single unit and it comes with a manual sequential gear box with six speeds. The front axles are double wish bone structure and the rear axles are also the same.
