The Renault Clio Sport V6 is a hatch and was launched in 2oo1 as a sports hatch. The Clio V6 production has stopped but has left a lot of enthusiasts still worshipping it.
The Clio V6 was derived form the Clio MK II platform but has very few parts in common with each other. The power train is from the same Configuration as in the Renault Laguna, a 3.0L V6 Configuration which could give 230 horse power. The newer vehicles came with the V6 Configuration and a 255 horse power range. In 2003 there were efforts to revamp the Renault Clio Sport V6 and they made it look like the MK III.
There were some drastic changes like they changed the front Configuration vehicle to a mid Configuration vehicle and the front wheel drive to a rear wheel drive hatch back and a lot of re work went into this car. This led to the car being heavier than before and saw a considerable decrease in acceleration. However the Clio still is the most powerful hatchback in the world which was produced from 200 to 2006. Now Clio will be going through another drastic change and probably a change in name too.
