The Saab is now fully owned by one of the largest car manufacturing company in the world and America’sSaab Company Logo big three, General Motors. Saab by birth was a Swedish company. Saab is the only automobile in Sweden which was appointed as the Royal warrant by His Majesty the king of Sweden. The competitors of Saab are the revered Audi, BMW, and Mercedes and the likes, which mean the best in luxury industry. SAAB is the acronym for Svenska Aeroplan Aktie Bolaget which means the Swedish air crafts company. OS the company actually made Air planes and not cars.

It is an enigmatic fact that why companies which make air crafts feel like making cars because Saab is not the only one in this category. However when the company got taken over the air plane division did not go with Saab to General Motors and only the cars division was sold. The origins of Saab are in Scandinavia and were established in 1937 with the whole idea of building only air planes at that point of time. Saab then decided to make passenger cars and the first car that Saab made was the Saab 92, it way a two door saloon which had a two cylinder Configuration and was a front wheel drive and also came with an independent suspension. The car derived a lot of looks from air planes and it was obvious in this Saab model. After that the Saab 92 was upgraded and now it had a three cylinder Configuration.

The 92 was present in the name because it was the 92nd model made by Saab and the 91st one was an Air plane. The three cylinders Saab 92 which was released in 1955 came with the first four stroke Configuration which was placed at a60 degree angle and the Configuration was made by ford.
