The Saab 9-2X is a car that would definitely appeal to the younger crowd. There are two trim levels in this model, one is the base linear and the other is a powerful Aero. The linear model was named as 2.5i later on. Standard features which came along with this model are the 16 inch alloy wheels, sport seats, sir conditioning and CD system. The Aero was an up market model and the features that it came with were fog lamps, metallic rings for the gauges, leather covered steering wheel, automatic climate controls, and CD changer. The base linear 2,5i model from the Saab 9-2X came with a 2.5L Configuration with four cylinders and produced 165hp to 173 hp if upgraded.
The Aero’s Configuration was turbocharged and could produce 227 hp. From the exterior the Saab 9-2X which was heavily inspired by the Subaru’ s wagon still carry’s Saab’s trademark looks but from the interiors it doesn’t make any such impressions. It sports an attractive cloth in two tones for the upholstery and the dash and the door tops are also made from carbon fiber. The Configuration is good to drive around the curves and back roads but experts feel it could use more power on the highways. The Aero’s turbo Configuration cruises through but the other models do not have the capability in spite of the Configuration.
