The Smart cars from Daimler Chrysler have made and continue to make the most impressive looking car on the road and one such car is the Smart Crosstown.

The Smart Crosstown is a concept car. The Smart Crosstown is a different car when it comes to its mechanisms because the drive train for the car is from a gasoline and electric hybrid Configuration.

This Configuration comes with an electric motor combined with a gasoline Configuration. The result is the fuel consumption goes down by at least 15% and the driving dynamics is increased in the car. The Smart Crosstown also comes with something called the CNG or the Compressed natural Gas, a micro hybrid, and a diesel version for the cars available in this line. The Smart Crosstown from the outside looks like a pseudo jeep model. It doesn’t take over the egg shape which is standard among these cars for some reason.

The Smart Crosstown comes with a soft top tractable by electric power and it retracts over the roll bars which are integrated and stacks up at the rear. The interiors of the Smart Crosstown are also very hip with distressed leather upholstery and door knobs which look funky and shaped like skate board wheels.
