Suzuki is a multinational company from Japan whose specialty is building compact cars for everyday use.
They also manufacture motor cycles and they are the leaders in motor cycles with leading models like the Hayabusa. Some more things they manufacture are ATV or all terrain vehicles, Marine engines and wheel chairs. Their products though for transportation were diverse within the industry. In the entire world Suzuki takes the 12 the place for being the largest manufacturer off cars.
Suzuki has production facilities in more than 23 counties across the world and is sold in more than 190 countries. Suzuki started its car production venture in 1937 and there were several prototype cars for launch within two years. Suzuki was very innovative right from the start and back then itself they came with the first liquid cooled four cylinder engine. It was the most progressive engine with practical specifications. After the World War II started the car sales on the whole took a big hit and they were no longer looked at as essential vehicles and there was severe devaluation of money across the world. Even petrol got expensive and almost headed towards a trend of being a rare commodity. Given all these factors Suzuki decided to produce motor cycles.
After the war not only Japan but through out the world there was a needed for cheap and reliable transport. Bicycles were used a lot at these times and there were a lot of companies which were making gas powered motors and engines for the bicycles. Then Suzuki built its first engine a 36cc two stroke engine and it had a double sprocket gear system too. Soon there were patents for this engine technology and a lot of companies started buying it. Then the Motorcycle Company became Suzu light in 1954 and the Suzuki car production remained.
