The Suzuki SX4 is a small compact car which has been developed by the Japanese car makers Suzuki and the Italian auto company Fiat.
Originally it was meant only for the European segment of market but now is being sold in South Asian countries and North American Countries too.
It was first introduced In the Geneva Motor Show in 2006 and was built in Hungary. The SX 4 drives using the 1.5l gasoline engine like the Swift and also the grand Vitara. It can produce up to 107 PS output. The North American model for the year 2006 and 2007was released in an all wheel drive version and as an entry level AWD vehicle. The AWD versions came with electronically manipulated four wheel drive system which keeps alternating between the front and the split permanent AWD for the rear.
The sales for SX4 and the response have been good in the United States as the dealerships are making full sales. The main reason the Suzuki SX4 is doing well is because it is loaded with features for the price at which it is being offered and makes it seem like it is true value for money and not just frills attached.
