The Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese company and the world’s largest auto maker. The Toyota MotorToyota Company Logo Corporation sells the most number of cars compared to any other car manufacturer in the world. The main reason on which the Toyota Motor Corporation thrives upon is its reliability and efficiency which is standard and has remained undeterred and undeffered in spite of the competition and technological race. The Toyota Motor Corporation has total of 522 subsidiaries currently and makes more money than General Motors with one single brand called the Toyota.


The Toyota Motor Corporation was started by Kitchiro Toyoda in 1937 and he took it over from his father which was called the Toyota industries. Right from the beginning they specialized only in automobiles. The first car the Toyota Motor Corporation made was the Toyota AA a passenger car which was successful in a big way. Ever since then there was no looking back for Toyota Motor Corporation. The Toyota Motor Corporation also bought many companies and also hold huge stake in the Daihatsu Industries and Fuji Heavy Industries which is the manufactures of Subaru vehicles. The Toyota Motor Corporation has pioneered many technologies including the hybrid gas electric vehicles. The Hybrid Gas vehicles have been a huge success so far and the Toyota Motor Corporation claims that it has sold more than 1 million vehicles.
The Toyota Motor Corporation became a fortune 500 company and the eighth largest company in the world in 2001.

Another vehicle which created waves across the world wherever it was released was the Toyota Camry. It is still the most widely sold vehicle. Toyota Motor Corporation made not only reliable and durable vehicles but also the Toyota vehicles were rated high for fuel economy. The Corolla and Camry which came in as entry level luxuries eventually became the best cars for five years and they literally ruled the car market for a very long time. They still remain the best models and Toyota is continuing to launch these cars in other parts of the world and cashing in without investing in newer models.
