Toyota has changed the name of Corolla and is going to call it Auris.
Probably Toyota thought that a new badge would do more good to the most successful family car the United States. The Auris has been designed in Europe and they claim it is a sports vehicle.
 The Auris however can stand on the same shelf as the VW golf or the Astra and match the Honda Civic as an equal. There were mixed impressions about the Austin in the beginning. The Auris was taller by 50mm and wider by 65mm than the Corolla and manages to look compact in spite of that like in comparison with focus from Ford.
In any case the fresh styling that the Corolla has received in the form of Toyota Auris has an impeccable character and a sportier suspension system and an engine range which will be turbo charged that can produce 250 bhp. For now the Toyota Auris has been limited to five kinds of engines, the 1.4, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.2 in diesel and petrol. Once you get inside the car you realize that the car is spacious and has extra head room and extra leg room. The boot looks bigger because of the black colored plastic between dashboard and windscreen.
