The Toyota Celica is in its seventh generation and has gone through a complete redesign and comes with a front wheel drive with 2 doors and a hatchback model. The Toyota Celica is offered in two trims the GT and the GT-S which is sportier.
There is no convertible option available in this model. The GT came with a 1.8L 4 cylinder engine which delivered 140 horsepower. But for the GT-S Toyota installed a VVT-I the variable valve timing and the power it delivered as a result was 180 horse power. The five speed manual transmission was standard in the GT but for the GT-S for the first time the Toyota Company got the Celica’s six speed automatic transmission. ABS was provided along with side impact air bags. Air condition, tilt steering, and leather upholstery were all standard offer from the Company.
The cars hooves were 16 inch alloy wheels. There was an optional moonroof available. The agility, handling and grippy nature came from the Celica genes to the car. The steering was also extremely responsive complimenting all these qualities. The actual value for money from the Toyota Celica comes from the durability and reliability which is the trademark of Toyota.
