The Toyota Highlander is a cross over vehicle from a mid size sports utility vehicle to a traditional SUV. The Highlander gives buyers a lot of benefits when compared to more traditional SUV’s from Toyota like good handling, decreased noise in the cabin, carshworthiness has been improved and the access into the cabin of the car is easier now.

Like many other crossovers that are available in the market the main appeal of the highlander is its SUV image, the cargo space and carrying it, versatility and sedan characteristics. He highlander can be thought of as an elevated and a big size Camry to travel.  The Toyota Highlander which was released for the year 2008 is a bit larger and the styling is more up to date, V6 which is more powerful and many other new features.

But when it comes to the highlander even the first generation model is good value for money. And moreover it is an easy to drive, comfortable which carries a good amount of cargo and gives a good handling to the driver even on ice and snow and the fuel economy is respectable in the Toyota Highlander. Toyota dealers are still selling the first generation model even while the 2008 has been released.
