The Vauxhall VX is a stunning new car and is a concept car with the all new VX lighting. This car is being launched mainly as a token of the company’s centenary celebrations.

The Vauxhall VX is basically a two seater roadster similar to the technical aspects of the Pontiac Solstice. The Vauxhall VX was first aired in North American Auto Show held in Detroit in September 2002.

The VX lighting is an aluminum 2.2L ECOTEC engine which carries a supercharger and can produce a maximum power of 240 hp at 305Nm torque. The new engine comes with a six speed gearbox and this also drives the rear wheels. The suspension is independent of the chassis but is within the chassis and the front end uses the strut configured along with a rack and pinion steering wheel.

The weight distribution is 50:50 and manages the agility of the car well. The company has tried to be very innovative with the exterior and the interior design of the car. The Vauxhall VX Lighting is fully British in every possible way and makes that mark of being a true roadster. Vauxhall is however gathering a lot of information from the reaction of people so that it can decide on this model of the car pretty soon.
