The Volvo C70 coupe’ is a front wheel drive car and the drive train is from a turbocharged 2.3L engine with dual overhead cams and can deliver up to 236 horsepower. This is coupled with a five speed manual transmission. Volvo expected a lot of customers to opt for the Automatic transmission, side air bags, antilock brakes, power moon roof and 17 inch alloy wheels.
The factory settings were limited to a good suspension, heated seats, leather upholstery and a 14 speaker audio system. Soon after the Volvo C70 was released it was followed by a convertible in the same model. Volvo has placed a lot of emphasis on safety features which is increasingly becoming the brand motto. When it comes to the Volvo C70 it has to be taken in that it is not a muscular car which is going to make a statement while you drive and show off that you are the most powerful but yes it is a nice looking coupe’/convertible which will keep you happy on the road.
