Ford F 250 – Car Specifications

The Ford F 250 is a part of the Ford Motor Company’s F Series of trucks. It is believed that sales of the F Series alone constitute half of all of the Ford Motor Company’s profits in recent years. In the tenth generation of the Ford F Series, Ford decided to split the F 150 and the F 250 / 350 in to two distinct body styles. The new version of the F 250 / F 350 is now known as the Super Duty.

The Ford Super Duty vehicles were introduced in the year 1998 as 1999 models. Both the Ford F 250 and the Ford F 350 are manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Truck Assembly plant.

The Ford Super Duty trucks are a lot bigger and heavier than your average truck. They are intended for commercial and industrial purposes. They come complete with such gadgets as heavy duty brakes, steel ladder frames, springs, axles, heavy transmissions, more powerful Configurations, and bigger components all around.

They are much larger than previous versions of the Ford 250 and Ford 350. They do resemble those former models, but do not share many design or technical characteristics. They are also distinct from the F 150.
